The dam Malou (64) is by Maraton and has competed up to 1, 20 m showjumping as a 6-year old. She then went in to breeding. The dam’s sister, Huldas Karin by Irco Mena was the top winning horse in Sweden in S class show jumping for several years in spite of being only 157 cm at the withers. The sire Balou du Rouet is a popular sire for jumping that was extremely successful in international sport. He is known to produce jumping horses of the highest quality such as Babalou, Brooklyn and Balloon.
